The yelling and excitement echo through the gym. Everyone cheered louder and wanted to win the spirit stick. The gym was filled with pink everywhere. The grades batted it out to win. The cheerleaders and dance team performed and they got the spirit hyped up. To experience everyone in pink and supporting the school football team. The freshman knew they had to bring it to win the spirit stick. They cheered louder than all the other grades to win. The freshmen brought it with the outfit and even an Ice Spice pink flag; it gets crazier while the pink-out pep rally goes on. Freshman finally won the spirit stick.
“It was so lit, everyone was wearing pink,” freshman Jace Sosa said. “It felt pretty good, I had a person on my shoulder; when we won it was a lot of fun.”
The pink-out pep rally was for the upcoming game against Akins. Principal Brett Miksch and assistant principal Nicole Creek were voted to get pied in the face by the students.
“It was so cool to see the teachers I picked get pied in the face,” freshman Maddie Miller said. “It was the best excitement of my life to win the spirit stick.”
The cheer team surprised students with bringing their favorite teachers out for a cheer dance.
“It was pretty hype, and getting to see some of my favorite teachers dancing was incredible,” Aryss said.
