Choir showed their thanks this holiday season by hosting a Friendsgiving for students, friends and families on Nov. 19. Their next event will be a Carol-Fest for the public on Dec. 3 at Creekside Villas Senior Village and a Singing with Santa Event on Dec. 7.
“I think it went really well,” junior Kate Parker said.
The event allowed for parents to see the environment the student choir has and how they work together as a team.
“I thought it was really good to see more family members too,” Parker said. “I think it’s important for family at home to see where their kids are singing and what they are doing during the day.”
But friends and family were able to join for one reason, and it wasn’t the choir, it was the food.
“I thought we had a lot more participation than normal, which was good because we’ve been working on that,” Parker said. “The food was amazing.”
