The Jaguar’s boys varsity team took home a win against East Central’s Hornets with a score of 4-0 on Friday, March 7.
“We all wanted to win on our Senior night,” sophomore Diego Torres-Solis said.
After a series of losses and ties, the win put the team closer than ever to the possibility of making district, and even playoffs.
“If we win the next game, we win district,” junior Joseph Rothgeb said.
For their next game, the boys’ team will take on Steele’s Knights on Friday, March 14 as a home game. Many players express excitement over future games, eager to win.
“It’s gonna be a really good game,” Rothgeb said. “We’re missing a few players, but we should still be fine; I’m confident.”
