Avery Humphries, Assistant Editor-In-Chief

Senior Avery Humphries is the Assistant Editor-In-Chief with four years of journalism experience. In her free time she loves playing with her cats and keeping her house clean and tidy. At school she sings in the varsity treble choir and is secretary and historian of the choir council. She also competes in UIL Journalism and UIL Solo and Ensemble.

Passing the torch: "The pep rally was fun and I have a great time with my team, and seeing anyone one more time before I leave high school," senior Ashley Grande said. The team is celebrating the end of their season after getting second in region and having five lifters compete at state. “With me placing at state and getting second, I had to leave my mark and a high standard,” Grande said. “The future for powerlifting is just getting started and there is more to come. I couldn't ask for anything better than my team and my coach. Love them all.”
