I love journalism because it has taught me many new writing skills the last couple of months. Journalism is an amazing way to learn new things about students and staff at your school and it's a great way to work on communication skills. Nobody talks about the feeling you get when you find a story no one is writing about and you get to make it your own. Journalism gives you a chance to put the spotlight on whatever you want, giving you a chance to be free. It's not just about putting words on a paper, its about learning about something that matters and sharing it with the world. This class is about finding your voice and realizing how powerful it is. While in this class I have learned how to interview people and I have learned how to come up with the right questions to ask people.
