Exploring new horizons Reece Barker, Jayme Estrada, and Daniella Moreno represent Johnson High School at the JEA National Journalism Convention in Seattle, where they improved their reporting skills, earned certifications, and connected with student journalists from across the country.” I enjoyed going back to Seattle again because It solidified my thoughts of moving there and I loved going back to get more knowledgeable in a field I love,” Estrada said.

Siana Martinez, Staff Writer

Junior Siana Martinez is a newspaper staff writer with two years of Journalism experience and three years of photography experience. She likes making bracelets, going swimming, and taking photos when she travels. She is just in the Newspaper Club. She loves Journalism because it allows her to give people’s opinions and stories a louder voice, and being able to capture certain moments to tell a story with them.
